We’re already heading towards the 5th edition of this little festival which brings you
another night bottled up with finest Soul, Ska, Rhythm’n’Blues and 60s Garage!

So please let me introduce you to this grand program:

LUCKY PEPPER (France)

Throw Nick Curran, Link Wray, The Ramones, Little Richard and Slim Harpo in a blender – what you get is frenzied rhythms and incendiary licks which forms into a high explosive sound that will burst in every direction. Hailing from the south of France, the band grabs you with boundless energy and their performance will propel you straight back into the 60’s cosmos! So better be ready for hair-raising riffs at mega-sonic speed!

TT SYNDICATE (Portugal)

You screamed for classy gents, dirty lyrics and a sophisticated show in one go? Well, here come seven Portuguese musicians to serve it up with the flair of the greats. The Porto-based band sets dancefloors ablaze — a feat that only surprises those unfamiliar with the power and precision they unleash when they draw back their musical bow. Their sound channels energy sources that never fail to shake the ground with a vibrant mix of Rhythm and Blues, Northern Soul, Popcorn, 60s Beat and even some Exotica. It’s pure and unfiltered talent and passion!

LOS TORONTOS (Spain)

Hailing from Barcelona, this five piece outfit, is a rocket that’s been lit! Influenced by The Kingsmen, The Sonics, Chuck Berry and Johnny Guitar Watson, their sound straddles from Frat Rock to Rhythm’n’Blues of the late 50ies and early 1960s! Being rooted in Canada, Catalonia and Argentina, «The Colonel Saxman» Spencer Evoy (MFC Chicken), «Boppin’ Guitar» Lega Legacaster, «Velvet Candles» frontman Agusti Burriel, «El Rey de la percusiòn» Berto Martinez and Javier Cortés on the bottocks will set the stage on fire for your best ass shaking pleasures!

Behind the desks in her majesty‘s service: Mrs Djane Ruby Knight! She’ll bring you the thrills and the chills so be sure to grab your Shim-Sham-Shimmy space on the dancefloor!! Since more than 20 years the lady is spinning the wax, serving you a fresh mix of finest 60’s Rhythm’n’Blues and Rockin Shouters!

MC Nico Cennamo

To celebrate the festival’s fifth birthday, there is another classy entertainer on the bill! The Whip’s resident MC goes by the name of Nico Cennamo! The true wild at heart rock’n’roll connaisseur, hankers for Elvis Presley as much as for Lemmy Killmister. The man in black will be your host of the night, leading you through the festivals programme!
